Boot Ace was created by designer and lifelong footy fan Rich Harley.

From muddy junior games to endless backyard kick-to-kick sessions, Rich has spent years immersed in grassroots sport; first as a player, and now as a dedicated AFL and soccer dad.

Week after week on the sidelines, he saw how small gear frustrations could quickly disrupt confidence, rhythm and enjoyment. While loose laces were often the visible issue, the deeper insight was clear: junior boots simply weren’t designed for how kids actually play, move and develop their skills.

With a background in design and a deep love of the game, Rich set out to rethink the boot experience from the ground up.

The result was Boot Ace: a world-first junior performance upgrade that secures the boot, creates a smoother strike surface and provides a built-in visual target to support cleaner contact and better flow of play.
